Westmont Living is looking for an outstanding individual who will oversee the day to day operations for all of our communities located in California and Oregon.  The Divisional Director of Operations is responsible for supporting the Executive Directors in coordinating activities of their resident care, sales, maintenance, activities and dining services departments. Additionally, the position will support the Vice President of Operations and by providing training, education and strategic coaching for each community.

The Divisional Director of Operations must have a sincere passion for working with seniors, as well as have demonstrated success in a leadership role within a senior living community including exceeding financial and operational goals.

Other requirements for the Divisional Director of Operations include:

  • 5 + years of successful multi-site operations experience
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, gerontology, or related field
  •  Current California RCFE Certificate REQUIRED
  • Supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline, and counseling. 
  • Business analytic skills with the ability to link information to action and results
  • Familiar with state licensing requirements
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate group presentations. 
  • Must possess independent judgment and discretion
  • Strong management and leadership abilities with a commitment to team member development
  • Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based upon their skills, roles, and interests
  • Willingness to travel 80-90%
  • Strong customer service record of accomplishment with measurable results
  • Competent in organizational, time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, (Windows, Outlook, Excel) & Westmont applications with the ability to learn new applications
  • Current administrator’s certificates for states in which communities are assigned.

Must be able and willing to fill in for the Executive Director Position within the community as needed.
