Westmont Construction is looking for an onsite Superintendant for our new community located in El Dorado Hills, CA.
Oversees, plans, directs, and coordinates all aspects of construction for senior living community projects from permit approvals through construction and final certification and community turnover. Supervises the organization of a construction project including: scheduling, budgeting and implementation, completing projects on-time and within budget. Manages sub-contractors and venders, ensures a safe work environment, promotes Westmont Living’s Service Promise and Service Standards and performs related work as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedules, supervises, oversees and coordinates all construction site activities.
Directs all field personnel, vendors and sub-contractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
Selects appropriate construction methods and strategies.
Maintains construction schedule, identifies and resolves any issues; immediately responds to work delays and emergencies.
Provides reports and updates on work progress and budget matters.
Collaborates with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
Selects, hires, instructs and supervises personnel, vendors and sub-contractors; inspects and approves all vendor and sub-contractor work.
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Responsible for scheduling all inspections and completing any corresponding paperwork.
Promotes job site safety, encourages and ensures safe work practices of all team members and sub-contractor and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
Orders materials and supplies and approves all project related invoices.
Maintains positive relationships with sub- contractors, vendors, suppliers, team members and other encountered during the course of work.
Meets Westmont Living’s Service Standards of Safety, Friendliness, Setting and Efficiency.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Five (5) years of commercial construction project supervision.
A valid California Class C driver’s license, which must be maintained throughout employment in this class, is required at time of appointment, or the ability to arrange necessary and timely transportation for frequent field travel throughout the day.
